Refractories for Iron Runner
We design and use different types of iron runner materials for blast furnaces of different sizes. The main runner, sub-runner and slag line of small and medium sized blast furnaces use quick-drying castables with corundum, high quality bauxite and silicon carbide as the main raw materials, which can be used after 2-3 hours of installation and pre-heating. It is special in high amount of iron passing at one time and good performance.
The iron runner of large and medium-sized blast furnaces uses low-water and ultra-low-water castables with high-density corundum, brown corundum, high-grade bauxite and high-grade silicon carbide as the main raw materials, which have good thermal shock resistance and strong anti-erosion and anti-wear ability. It can be constructed by on-site pouring or pre-forming, with a high amount of iron passing at one time and good performance.
